3TitusPhoto00I know that there are people who consider the message of resignation obsolete, who would much sooner preach resistance and rebellion than resignation, but the truth is that we live in world in which suffering is unavoidable… It is a denial of the true state of affairs if we do not prepare for something which we cannot escape.

  1. So often this wisdom is overlooked. Acceptance of the reality of suffering does not mean we give up hope, and it is certainly not a lack of faith. This is the faith that says that, no matter what, God is good.
